Well, this isn't really a review blog but I have accumulated a few and plan to do more. Might as well collect them all in one place.
A few words are in order:
I focus on whether the book will see play at your table, and how well it will go. Production values are nice, but ultimately superfluous most of the time (unless a lot of player-facing pictures are included).
I score out of 10, with a rough breakdown like this:
10 - flawless, auto-buy, everyone can make use of it
9 - excellent but not perfect, may not be useable for everyone
8 - very good, definitely worth your time
7 - good
6 - alright, or very good with real flaws
5 - middling, or good with severe flaws
4 - not good, has redeeming qualities but probably not worth your limited gaming dollar
3 - this item upset me to read, grifts and cash-grabs are rated at this or lower
2 - totally worthless
1 - negative value, author should stop writing gaming products now
